Thanks All!

Professional Career Services, LLC thanks all of our customers this year. I hope you find the professional career of your choice and are receiving the compensation that you desire as well. I wanted to encourage all of you who are continuing to look for jobs, do not get discouraged! I know there are many scary reports about the economy, unemployment rate, company closings, etc. There are still companies in FAYETTEVILLE that need quality workers like yourself. Do not get discouraged and do not stop searching for work. Here are just a few basic tips to remember when you are searching for work.
  1. Do not always rely on the internet for job opportunities - if possible go out directly to businesses face to face
  2. Be sure to dress for success when job searching in person
  3. Be prepared and spend some time researching the company before the interview - learn basic facts, president's name, is it a branch of a larger company, etc..
  4. Remember to include a cover letter with the resume. If you are having difficulty with a cover letter. Send me an email, I will forward you some new templates, I have available.
  5. Send out follow up letter if you receive no response from prospective employers you sent resumes
  6. After every interview, send out a thank you letter. This is a must! I cannot tell you how many times, this has gotten someone a job. It is a simple courtesy, most neglect to do.

Of course, I can go on but these are some immediate tips that come to mind when searching for employment.
